How do I create an online ecard or announcement?
There are many ways to begin your eCard creation. From the PurpleTrail home page, you can click on the “Online Invitations” tab at the top of the page. Use the search box to find something specific like “baby shower” or “3rd birthday”.
You can also view featured upcoming holiday designs under Popular Occasions and Events.
Step 1: Choose your design. Choose from thousands of our designs, for every occasion. Click on a design to see a larger image that you can preview the design with.
Step 2: Personalize Your Design. Click on the design you like and then click the Start Personalizing button. This will open up the PurpleTrail Design Center.
In the PurpleTrail Design Center you can customize your design. You can add in all your party details to your invitation. Once you are finished, click on the Finished button to save your design.
You can return to your saved design at any time and continue personalizing. On the next page, you can request a free sample pack, share your design with a friend, and view a hi-res preview of your design. After your design is saved click on Next Step to continue creating your eCard.
Step 3: Add Details. To finish creating your invitation, you’ll need to select the Send Online option and then choose the type of online design you would like to send.
You’ll then be able to add event details for your invitation. All details can be edited later as well. Enter all of the details for your event. Don’t worry, you will be able to change all of these details later.
You will also be able to adjust the settings for the eCard so your webpage will be setup appropriately, including being able to make the URL public or private.
When you are finished, click on “create” at the bottom of the page. If you were not previously logged into your account, then the next page will prompt you to log in. If you do not have an account, you can sign up. Creating an account is a simple process that takes just a minute.
You’ll then be able to add recipients and send your eCards.
How do I get help with wording my invitation?
On Step 2 of creating your invitation, you can click on the help box on the right to browse a list of eCard wording ideas. Once you find one you like, you can copy and paste it into your message. Just close the invitation wording window when you are finished.
