Can I receive a digital proof?

Absolutely! Infact, unlike other services that take up to 72 hours, with PurpleTrail you can download your proof immediately.

When placing your printed card order you have the option to select that you would like to receive a digital proof in conjunction with your print order. This is a high resolution pdf download that allows you to see exactly what will be printed.
All order proofs are reviewed by a PurpleTrail Care Expert to make sure everything on your card will print well. If there is something that could result in poor printing, we will contact you via email or phone.
If you would like to order a digital proof before placing your order, our Print at Home option is a perfect solution. It allows you to instantly download the high resolution pdf versions of your designs for review before placing your card order.
If you want to make some changes, notice anything that doesn't look right or have any concerns about your proof, please send us an email at support@purpletrail.com and we will help you get the issues resolved.

Will anyone review my order before printing?

Absolutely!

All order proofs are reviewed by a PurpleTrail Care Expert. We make sure everything on your card will print well and try to find any potential spelling errors.
If there is something that could result in poor printing or there is a possible error on your card, we will contact you via email or phone before printing your order.
Please note that, if we do find some issues with your proof, this may delay the processing of your order until all issues are resolved.

How soon will I receive my print at home download?

Immediately!!

Unlike other services that take up to 72 hours to provide a digital proof, with PurpleTrail you can download your copy immediately.
The downloads also remain within your PurpleTrail account for at-least 6 months, so you can access them at a later time.

How do I print at home?

Once you have designed and downloaded your design, follow these steps:

Open the pdf file using your Adobe reader. If you do not have adobe reader, please download it from adobe's website.
Go to File->Print and keep following printer settings and tips in mind:
- Test orientation so you print on the correct side.
- Printer is set to highest resolution.
- The paper size is correct for what ever you are printing.
- Photo printers sometimes support borderless printing but most other printers do not. This results in your card having a 1/8 to 1/4 inch white border. You can easily trim this away if needed.
- Choose the correct medium source (photo paper, card stock etc.).

Can I print as many copies as I want?

Absolutely!

Once you purchase a print at home download for a design you can print that design as many times as you like for personal use.
Please note that you can not alter, resell, redistribute or repurpose the designs, in any form, for commercial or personal purposes.

Does sending online cost anything?

No, it does not cost anything to send online invitations, ecards or announcements to upto 50 people.

If you need to send to more than 50 people, a PurpleTrail club membership is required.

Are my guests' email addresses safe? How about mine?

Yes and Yes!

All guest email addresses and other user information are completely safe and secure. For more information, please see our privacy policy.
We ensure that your and your guest's personal information is protected and do not share that with anyone. For more information, please see our privacy policy.

Do my guests have to create an account in order to respond to my invitation?

No - guests do not need to create an account in order to respond to an invitation.

We do, however, give the guests an option to create an account with a password (after they have RSVPed) to allow for easy access to the online invitation at a later time.
If they choose to create an account, they will be able to login and access the invitation they have received simply by entering their email address and password. If they do not set up an account, they will need to have the invitation, ecard or announcement email that they received in order to access the event webpage.

What's the difference between online invitations, eCards and eAnnouncements?

Online invitations allow you to collect RSVP responses for your event. For example, an invitation to a birthday party, baby shower, etc.
Ecards do not allow for RSVP collection, but guests can visit the webpage and leave messages. For example, Happy Birthday Cards, Thank you cards etc.
Announcements do not allow for RSVP collection, but guests can visit the webpage and leave messages. For example, Baby Announcements, Moving Announcements, etc.

Will my invitation contain advertisements?

No - all of the invitations, ecards and announcements on PurpleTrail do not have any external advertisements!
