¢â,¬¢ Use scrapbook papers that coordinate with your wedding theme and colors as the main place card. You can mix and match many different patterns and prints to make a decoupage, creative look! Write your guests name and seating assignment either directly on the pattered paper or glue a solid, color square on top of the scrapbook paper.
¢â,¬¢ Use a single-hole puncher and coordinating ribbon and hang guests place cards on a tree or branches. If youre having a Christmas wedding, definitely use a Christmas tree!
¢â,¬¢ Set up a wall with numerous rows of string or rope and use clothes pins to clip the place cards to the rope for a fun, unique look! Extra touch create a sign to put above the display that says, “Thanks for hanging with us!”
¢â,¬¢ For a Spring or Summer wedding, use trays of bright, green grass and position the place cards into the grass in rows. You could find artificial grass at a craft store, or find the real thing at a green house! (Caution dont dig up your own yard!)
¢â,¬¢ Print your guests names and assignment on a personalized coaster. Many wedding websites and suppliers sell these. You could have your guests find their coaster first, and have the champagne and punch table directly next to it so they can put their place card to good use!
