Need help planning an unforgettable rehearsal dinner on a tight budget? Start by sending sensational rehearsal dinner invitations.  Then make creativity your friend and use some of my theme ideas, or get inspired to come up with one of your own! Not every rehearsal dinner needs to take place at the pricey restaurant downtown to impress your guests. Rent out a town hall, community center or park. Or, host the event in your own backyard or at your parent’s place.

Here’s a fun, easy and cheap idea!

Barbeque Picnic:

FOOD…..Fire up the grill and offer a variety of grilled meats and treats. Consider kabobs for a grab and go option for guests to mingle with.

FAVORS…..Ketchup Favors – at myHeinz.com, you can create customized bottles of ketchup and mustard! Put your names and wedding date on the bottles and your guests with think of you every time they’re topping their cheeseburger at home!

DÉCOR…..Red and white checkered table cloths – purchase by the dozen online for a cheap deal! Oriental Trading has a dozen priced for $14.99! Stock up at the after-holiday sales with simple strings of white lights. Decorate bushes, trees and walkways to give your celebration a glowing ambiance at sunset. If large trees are near your setting, purchase rolls of red and white crepe papers and drape through the branches to add a pop of color.
For centerpieces, use small picture frames of the couple from their dating years or growing up. Consider using red frames or painting the frames red to match your festive table cloths! Surround the frames and the length of the table with simple glass tea light holders and neutral-colored tea lights. Discount stores or Ikea have packs of glass tea light holders for a bargain price.

GIFTS…..Shower your groomsmen with fun BBQ-themed gifts as your thank you for being in the wedding. Small charcoal grills, a new grill set, gourmet seasonings or a grill cover of their favorite sports teams are just a few ideas! Give your bridesmaids fun cookbooks or a personalized collection of you and your fiancé’s favorite recipes!
