Bachelor party, stag night, last night of freedom… It goes by many names but really a bachelor party is just a reason to get your best friends together for a night (day or weekend) of partying and relaxation. Traditionally full of lots of alcohol and scantily clad women, we recognize not all bachelors want to celebrate that way. We’re here to help with your bachelor party planning.
Sports Game
Head to the groom’s favorite team game. Reserve a box seat area and utilize the stadium catering service where you can pre-order drinks and food for the game. Head out to your favorite pub (or any type of club for that matter) afterward to continue the celebration.
Golf
Before you strap on the old ball and chain, hit the links with your buddies. Consider reserving a table at the 19th hole and have drinks and food waiting for you. If you have a mix of abilities in your group, try playing by “best ball” rules to even out the playing field.
Beer Tasting
What’s more fun that downing a few beers with the guys? Many breweries have tastings and tours that are inexpensive or free. Try smaller microbreweries for something new and local. You may be able to arrange a private room for your party.
Go Karts
Get the groom’s adrenaline pumping by heading to the go kart track. With enough people, some facilities will let just your group head out for several laps. There are gas powered and electric go karts. Elecrtric karts are often a little faster and don’t leaving you smelling like gas.
Comedy Club
A night of laughs is the perfect way to celebrate a bachelor party. Be sure to check the club’s website for who is preforming. Sometimes more well known comedians still play at samller clubs so you might catch are really great act. The relaxed environment is a great way to unwind and relax before the big day.
Casino night
Head out to your favorite local casino and plan for a night of gambling and fun. Catch a show or rent out a card room to make the night more memorable. If you prefer to stay in, create your own casino night with all your favorite games.
Gentleman’s Club
Gentleman’s club or strip club, call it what you like. Bachelor parties seem to be perfect occasion to go check out lovely ladies dancing. Be sure to think about transportation if drinking is allowed in the club. Arrange for a taxi or hire a driver for the evening to make sure everyone can enjoy themselves safely.
Vegas, Baby, Vegas
Plan a trip to sin city for a night or two of total debaughtery. There will be no shortage of things to do at your bachelor party in Las Vegas. Check the web for last minute travel and hotel deals. Many hotels offer bachelor party packages that include a variety of entertainment.
Camping
Why not make a weekend out of your bachelor party? If you are the outdoorsy type, head to your favorite mountain, lake or river for a weekend of cooking over the fire and “roughing it” with your buddies.
