Playmobil is one of the most popular toys for kids – small plastic figures often sold in thematic sets that range from pirates to farms to space and beyond. These sets get children’s minds inspired with imaginative play and with so many thematic sets they are truly inspiring for thematic birthday parties too.  

Does your child love Playmobil?  If so, you may want to take a look at what sets she has and build a party theme around it.

1. Play Find The Playmobil Figures.  Simply hide the various Playmobil figures around the party area or backyard and give the children a set time to find as many as they can.

2. Play Hot Playmobil ___ (fill in the title of your Playmobil figure) just like Hot Potato

3. Play Passthe Playmobil ___ (character name). Pass the figure around a circle to music and when the music stops whoever is holding the figure is out.

4. Free play with Playmobil sets.

5. After the kids have played with their Playmobil figures, have them create their own thematic Playmobil adventure based on your party theme and have them act it out.

6.Guess the Playmobil figure.Make up a batch of flavored gelatin and hide small Playmobil figures inside the gelatin.  Blindfold the kids and let them pick out a figure one by one and guess which one it is.  Other guests can provide hints to the child figuring the puzzle out

7. Use Playmobil figures to scatter around the party table for additional decoration and fun and place them atop your birthday cake.

8. For a favor, send the kids home with Playmobil figures.

Playmobil toys can easily be used to bring many birthday party themes alive.  If you are looking to fill a little time, bring out the Playmobil sets and let the kids play!
