We played this baby shower game at work last year and it was just hilarious! This is a really fun game for a co-ed baby shower, and of course would be great for a girls only baby shower too!
Object of the Baby Feeding Contest game:
Two teams will compete against each other. One team member will hold up a cut-out of a baby with room to poke their head through. This team member cannot use their hands! The other team member will be blindfolded sitting in front of the ‘baby’ team member. When the hostess says GO, the team that finishes a cup of baby food, applesauce or pudding first is the winner!
To set up the Baby Feeding Contest game:
1. Find two sheets of cardboard or thick poster board (about 3 x 3 or so).
2. Trace an oval/round hole towards the top of the cardboard piece that will be where the ‘baby’ team member will put this head through. Cut out the oval/round hole.
3. Use markers or crayons and draw a baby on the front of the cardboard using the cut-out hole as it’s head. Draw a bonnet around the hole, curly strands of hair on top of its head, a bib, arms and legs. I even wrote the words “feed me!” on the bibs! I also used an actual ribbon to tie a bow and stapled/glued it to the top of the baby’s head!
4. Find tarps or plastic table cloths to put over the team members and your surroundings!
5. Have spoons and jars of baby food, pudding or applesauce for the teams to use (tip – warm applesauce and pudding is harder to eat!).
6. Find two blindfolds for the feeding team member to use.
You can play this multiple times if you have more people at the shower. Or you can have them feed a couple different foods to make the game last longer too! Everyone will be rolling with laughter and it will be a huge success at your next baby shower!
