We had numerous anniversary celebrations at work this year What we did was find lined scrapbook paper for the guests to sign then put them in a 'gift' scrapbook for the honoree. They can then scrapbook the celebration pictures and have the guest signatures all together. It's turned out to be a hit since many of us were into scrapbooking. Yes I was one of the honorees and I loved having the signatures for my book.

We are having our house warming next month and I was thinking of getting a white mat from a picture frame and having everyone sign it. Then we are going to hang a family photo inside.

I love this idea! I did something similar with a large plate that is still the center piece of my dining room table (4 years later). That is exactly what makes this idea great. You would never look at a book again but your plate or latte mug can stay out for years.
