This summer season is full of summer party invitations and gift giving occasions…Father’s Day, graduation, weddings, baby showers, birthdays, retirement parties and more. These fabulous gift giving occasions are definitely worthy of some gift wrapping innovation.  I happened upon this fun blog munchkinsandmayhem.com and found this fantastic gift wrap idea; use tablecloths!  Not only does it solve the problem of odd shaped gift coverage, it also is something the recipient can re use.  As the author mentions, you can find inexpensive tablecloths at any store, she picked hers up at Ikea.  It’s also suggested that you don’t use tape to secure the wrap, but ribbon instead.  Using tablecloths as gift wrap is not only an innovative idea but an eco-friendly one as well.  The fabric can be re-used as a liner for a gift basket or even as a table runner if you cut carefully.  It’s a great, easy, pretty way to wrap your gift.
