If you are sending our party invitations and are looking for some easy kids party crafts, look no further than this cute butterfly mobile we found on thelongthread.com. It’s pretty easy to put together. Finds some great looking fabric that inspires you and start creating! Here’s an overview of what you’ll need.
You’ll need fabric for 3 butterflies, fishing line, a needle and thread. See the thelongthread.com for details. They also provide you a link to the butterfly template. 
Follow the directions for sewing the fabric and interfacing after you’ve cut out the butterfly patterns.
Once you get all the butterflies sewn it’s time to run the fishing line through them. You basically just hold the middle of the butterfly accordion style and pull the threaded needle through all the layers of fabric. You’ll want to leave the length at the top of the butterfly that you’ll need to hang it. You’ll repeat this for all 3 butterflies. Make sure you tie a knot at the end and leave a little extra to keep the knot secure.
Once you’ve completed it, hang it where you feel inspired to. It’s a great for bringing spring to a room, or embellishing a little girl’s room.
