Sweet Valentine Hair Clips

Materials: (Time :15 Min)
- Red and white thick cloth
- Embroidery floss, Needle
- Fabric marker
Directions: These clips are very easy to make and are ready in no time. First cut out hearts from red and white thick cloth. The red heart should be bigger than the white one. Then with the help of embroidery floss, stitch both the hearts together. To give it a design as shown in the picture, you can use a fabric marker to evenly space the stitches. Take a Big red button and attach it to the hearts. Once you are done with the embroidery part, you can glue the hearts onto a clip. All in all a pretty personalized gift that is ready with little effort. You will surely have fun doing this Adult Valentine’s craft project!
Cockscomb Valentine Wreath
Nothing expresses the essence of Valentine’s Day better than a big, full heart. Declare your love for a sweetheart or simply a love of romance with this handmade cockscomb wreath. This adult Valentine’s craft project is super fun and creative!
Materials: (Time 45 Min)
- Heart-shaped 10-inch polystyrene wreath form (available at florists’ shops)
- Utility knife with a saw blade
- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
- Several bunches of dried cockscomb (each with about eight stems)
- 3 yards of satin ribbon
- Floral wire
Directions: Round off the edges of the wreath form with the utility knife to make beveled edges. This will allow the flowers to flow over the sides. Trim stems off of the flowers, leaving a 1/4-inch base. Apply glue to the base of the flowers, and arrange flower tops facing up on the form, grouping them by color. Cut a yard of ribbon, fold it in half, and attach it to the back of the wreath with a T-pin to form a loop for hanging. After hanging the wreath from a tack in the wall, tie the remaining 2 yards of ribbon into a bow with long tails, and mount the bow on the tack with floral wire. That’s it! Your adult Valentine’s craft project is all set and ready to give away.

Materials: (1 hrs 20 min)
- Masking tape
- Glass vase
- Gold spray paint
- Glass paints in peach and white
- Gold glitter paint pen
Directions: Use masking tape to section off a rectangular area on the vase. Leave the rectangle uncovered and cover the rest of the bottle with tape. Spray the bottle with two or three light coats of gold spray paint, allowing the paint to dry between coats. Let the paint dry completely. Carefully remove the tape. Cut out a heart and trace the shape onto the gold painted area. Paint the heart using peach paint. It may require two coats. Add peach dots in the gold area by dipping the handle end of the paintbrush into paint and dotting onto the surface. Add white dots inside the peach heart. Let the paint dry. Outline the heart with a gold glitter paint pen. Let it dry.
Valentines Candlelight Rose Craft

Materials: (Time 30 Min)
- Round shaped votive candle holder
- Large silk rose and leaves
- Votive candle
- Hot glue gun
Directions: To make this candlelight rose craft, first remove the rose from it’s stem and separate the petals. Then cut the petals apart and sort according to size. Once you are done with this you can glue the smallest petals around candle holder beginning from the top of the glass. Remember to glue the base of petals only and let the tips curl outward. Continue to glue rows of graduated-size petals to cover the glass with tips of petals centered between two petals in prior row. Cut and glue a small circle from a rose petal to cover the bottom, then glue calyx over circle. To give it a finishing touch you can arrange and glue leaves around the bottom of candle holder as shown in the picture. This valentines special craft will certainly add to the party decor.
Pistachios’s anyone? This dyed pistachio wreath is a great way to take an ordinary nut and make it look beautiful! This heart shaped wreath will make a beautiful decoration for Valentine’s day. Just don’t give this adult Valentine’s craft project to anyone with a nut allergy!
Materials: (Time 1 hr)
- Construction paper
- Tracing paper
- Red felt-tip pen
Directions: Cut a symmetrical heart from paper (this one is about 8 inches tall), and then cut out the middle leaving a heart-shaped ring with 1 inch wide edges. Trace the pattern onto thick cardboard for the wreath form and onto red felt for the backing: Cut shapes out, and use household glue to attach the felt to the form. Color the edges of the cardboard with a red felt-tip pen. Next, heat up a glue gun, and glue pistachios to the cardboard as shown, beginning at the V-shaped top of the heart and pointing the open ends of the shells outward. Cover the entire cardboard surface. In crevices between the rows of pistachios, dab hot glue to secure pink peppercorns (available at specialty food stores). Glue a picture hanger on the back, and loop ribbon through. Adult Valentine’s craft project complete!
