When you are kid, there is nothing like a great sleepover party with friends. You can invite everyone to the night with great sleepover party invitations and set the tone for some serious fun. Here are few great sleepover games that you can use at your next sleepover.
Dance Central Dance Off
You can really do this with whatever game console you have (Wii or Xbox) but friends will love having a dance off to any kind of dance game. Depending one what your game allows, start with that amount of players and have the lowest scorer of the round rotate out each time.
Blind Makeover
Pair everyone up and give everyone a few things to give a makeover with (makeup earrings, hair accessories etc.). Then blindfold the person who will be giving the makeover. Set a time limit of 5 minutes and let the blind folded person give the their partner a makeover. Once the timer goes off, switch and let the other person wear the blind fold and give the makeover. Give a prize to the best makeover.
Two Truths and a Lie
Have everyone sit in a circle. Each person gets to tell two truths and a lie. The person to their left must try and guess the lie. Each time a person guesses correctly, they get 1 point. If they do not guess correctly then they other person who told the 3 statements gets 2 points. Play at least 2 rounds, switching directions on the next round (the person on the right has to identify the lie). The person who gets the most points wins.
Telephone
Any oldie but a goodie. You’ll always be surprised by the outcome after a statement has gone around the circle. Have everyone sit in a circle one person start by whispering in the ear of the person on their left. The statement should be a a short sentence. This game is good for all ages.
Who am I?
Choose 2 people to be guests at a party. For the remaining party goers, assign them a character to play. You write down some characters/people and have them draw from a hat. Some ideas include: Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, School Bus Driver, Firefighter, Teacher, etc. Then the two guests, that were not assigned a character, have to figure out what/who the other people are pretending to be. The can only answer yes or no questions like, “are you famous?”, “are you a male?”. Get creative with your characters!
Sardines
This is such a fun version of hide and seek. One person hides. Each time someone finds them, they join them in their hiding spot. The last person to find everyone gets to be it first the next time.
We hope you enjoy these sleepover game ideas and have a fantastic sleepover party!
